How to get there
By car
You can easily reach Lecce driving through Italian motorway. The best ones are A14 Bologna-Taranto and A16 Napoli-Canosa motorways. When you reach Bari, you need to leave the motorway and enter the highway, it’s quite a long way but it’s free. When you get to Brindisi you continue driving on the State highway 613 until Lecce. You will easily get to Nardò if you need to (only 20 km far), as well as Maglie (23 km far), Porto Cesareo (26 km far), Otranto (40 km far), Gallipoli (36 km far) and Santa Maria di Leuca (75 km far).
By train
The railway in Lecce is connected to the biggest cities in Italy, among these Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Venice, Bolzano, the biggest Adriatic cities and the one in Calabria. You can visit www.trenitalia.com to verify the possible connections you may need. Lecce is connected to Nardò, Gallipoli, Otanto and Leuca through Ferrovie Sud-Est.

Flights connections are possible thanks to Brindisi Salento Airport, which is 40km from Lecce. Daily flights are available from and to Rome, Milan, Bologna, Pisa. Ryanair offers cheap daily flights from Bologna, Rome, Milan, Pisa, Turin, Treviso, London, Bruxelles, Barcellona, Eindhoven, Paris and Stockholm.
