You can easily reach Lecce driving through Italian motorway. The best ones are A14 Bologna-Taranto and A16 Napoli-Canosa motorways. When you reach Bari, you need to leave the motorway and enter the highway, it’s quite a long way but it’s free. When you get to Brindisi you continue driving on the State highway 613 until Lecce.
